How to clean fashion costume jewellery

• Use a simple and safe soap and water ideally something mild like Johnson's baby shampoo
• If you can get away with just a damp cloth then try using that to clean first, use soap and water for very dirty or really dusty pieces
• For very stubborn stains use a gentle toothbrush or a children’s toothbrush that has very soft bristles to ever so gently rub any stains of, do not aggressively rub or be too abrasive as this could lead to scratch marks on your jewellery
• Using a soft toothbrush is also helpful to remove dirt from intricate and awkward pieces
• Always make sure you dry your jewellery as water can stain and destroy jewellery
• Dry with a soft cloth (non-fluffy as any fluff will attract or get caught in the jewellery) tissue or a microfiber cloth works well
• Store jewellery in a cool dry place
• Jewellery should be Ideally stored in a zip lock bag or jewellery box away from light and dust
